Climbing access threatened on the Eastern Slopes, including the Ghost River

Echo Canyon Parking

There is limited parking at the Alpine Club of Canada's Clubhouse.

Climbers heading to Echo Canyon above the ACC are asked to carpool. There is a day-use parking area 0.5 km west of the turn-off to Indian Flats road, a few metres past Elk Run Boulevard. Climbers are asked to use this area, and then to park their car on the Clubhouse access road pointing downhill across from the woodpile.

Please help to preserve the parking access for this terrific climbing area! Climbers can also buy beer at the Clubhouse and enjoy it on the deck with one of the best views in Canmore.
